Description
100% punch-free port cannulas

The port cannulas indicated are suitable for high pressure injections:
High pressure injections with contrast medium via port catheter systems
Indication
Access to implanted port catheter systems for administration of drugs or infusion solutions, blood sampling or blood supply (for large lumen cannulas, such as 18G).
For puncturing the silicone membrane of the port chamber, the corresponding suitable punch-free puncture cannulas may be used. The special puncture cannulas are characterised by a special cut that prevents fragmentation of silicone particles as well as the punching out of a puncture channel in the membrane. Depending on the indication, the choice of the appropriate cannula diameter and its puncture length – a decision that is the responsibility of the attending physician.
A luer lock connector allows connection to syringes, infusion devices, etc. with a 6% luer taper for intravascular and hypodermic applications.
Patient population: Use in patients with a fully implanted port catheter system.
Users: Medical professionals (doctors, nurses) with appropriate training.
