Guaranteed non coring needle
Special non-coring puncture needles for implantable port catheter systems, consisting of surgical steel with a special punch-free bevel, tubing, closure valve and Luer-Lock connector.

Different diameters and stitch lengths are available depending on the application and necessary flow rate.

Advantages due to special cut with trocar tip and lateral exit hole:

• guaranteed no punch defects when inserted into silicone membrane
• thus preventing leakage and distribution of skin and silicone particles into the bloodstream which may cause complications
• reduced infection rate
• enhances function and durability of these systems
• stable needle tip

Access to implanted portcatheter systems (e.g. 111252 D, 111255 D, 111259 AS/PT, 111262 DR, 111263 APH, e.g. for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, peritoneal chemotherapy, apheresis or ascitestherapy.

Use only the appropriate non-coring special puncture needles to puncture the silicone membranes of the port chambers. These are specially beveled to prevent silicone particle fragmentation and membrane puncture defects.

A Luer-Lock connector allows connection to syringes, infusion systems, etc. with a 6% Luer taper for intravascular and hypodermic applications.

Patient group: Patients with the need for long-term central access to the vascular system for the above applications.

Operator: Medical professionals (doctors, nurses) with appropriate training.
