supply (for large lumen cannulas, such as 18G).<\/p>\n<p>For puncturing the silicone membrane of the port chamber, the corresponding suitable punch-free puncture cannulas may be used. The special puncture cannulas are characterised by a special cut that prevents fragmentation of silicone particles as well as the punching out of a puncture channel in the membrane. Depending on the indication, the choice of the appropriate cannula diameter and its puncture length <span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">&#8211; a decision that is the responsibility of the attending physician.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A luer lock connector allows connection to syringes, infusion devices, etc. with a 6% luer taper for intravascular and hypodermic applications.<\/p>\n<p><u>Patient
